This CD
is excellent for beginners and intermediate drummers. An introductory lesson
shows you how to play the basic sounds found on the djembe, and also advises
good drum technique. This is followed by five African and South American
rhythms. Each rhythm is taught using verbal instructions and rhythmical
singing, illustrating right and left hand co-ordinates and timing. Each
rhythm is then played, together with the variations, for you to play along
with. To make sure you never get bored, variations are also included in the
instructions. These variations invite free expression and intuitive style
drumming for advanced skill. Practice
drumming in the comfort of your home, or start your own drum circle with
friends. Feedback:
The CD is really going to help, been listening in the car and beating my

CLINICAL
HYPNOSIS alters consciousness and produces the brain waves found in
meditative states. As the body relaxes, beneficial physiological,
neurological and biochemical changes occur. This process helps counteract
the effects of stress, and is physically, emotionally and intellectually
revitalising. The therapeutic benefits accrue with regular practice.
In a
similar way, the rhythm of the DJEMBE DRUM serves as a particularly powerful
therapeutic tool in altering consciousness. As with HYPNOSIS, this
alteration of consciousness aids in aligning us physically, mentally and
emotionally. It is for this reason that drumming has featured in healing
ceremonies throughout the world since ancient times.
Listening
to INNERSPHERES will help you synchronise and balance the left and right
hemispheres of your brain. This alignment of the brain known as "Hemispheric
Synchrony" forms the neurobiological basis for transcendental experiences,
and enhances creativity and intuition.
INNERSPHERES integrates the expertise of Clinical Hypnosis with the trance
inducing rhythm of the Djembe Drum that will guide you to the 'innerspheres'
of consciousness, quietening the mind and helping you utilise your inner
potential more fully. |
